NRA Western Big Game Hunter Clinic

Course Overview: This 6 hour clinic is designed to provide hunters with detailed information well beyond the basic "how-to's" of a licensing safety course. This clinic will expand hunters knowledge of hunting, improve their skills specific to the species or discipline they're interested in and increase their awareness of safety, responsibility and ethics.

 

This program is made up of and supported by a corp of dedicated instructors. The entire clinic serves to help new and experienced hunters further appreciate the privilege of hunting. As hunters learn more about proper hunting techniques, wildlife management and defending hunting against the anti-hunting movement, they will emphasize responsible activities while afield and educate others to do the same.

  • Hunter safety and responsibility

  • Biology and behavior

  • Natural history and management

  • Gear selection and hunt preparation

  • Hunting strategies

  • Hunter marksmanship

  • Field care and table fare

  • And so much more...

 

Students will receive the NRA Western Big Game Hunting handbook, NRA Hunter Clinic Brassard and the NRA Western Big Game Hunter Clinic completion certificate.
